Not all properties are listed with realtors. Some people sell their properties without involving a realtor. These are know as For Sell By Owners or FSBOs. A lot of real estate investors also sell their own properties. They usually will list them on their own website, free websites and websites of other investors.

I have found that some websites leave a property on the site for 1 year after it has been sold. Very frustrating. Other sites update every day so you can rely on the results.
Be sure to check the Sold and Expired categories in MLS for that address.
